2009 BOP Open House May 2-3

2009 BOP Open House for Members and Friends Only will be held on the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd, 2009 from 11am to 3pm. Please R.S.V.P. at 303-460-0674. All our members and friends will receive an invitation in the mail. Visitors will receive a tour of the facility and interesting information about the many birds we cared for in 2008, those that had to spend the winter and part of the summer at the facility.

Soaring on Mended Wings Benefit Celebration

You’re invited to attend celebration benefiting the Birds of Prey Foundation 25 April 2009 at Cherokee Ranch & Castle. Included for $65.00 are Castle Tour, Buffet Luncheon, Presentation by Sigrid Ueblacker, BOP Executive Director; Special appearance by Adam, our educational Bald Eagle; Raptor Release (weather & availability permitting).

2009 Bird Rehab Seminar & Workshops

Birds of Prey Foundation will host an intensive two day seminar and hands-on workshop focusing on bird rehabilitation March 28-29, 2009 . Key Note Speaker Kay McKeever of the Owl Foundation.

White Hawk Released!

“MyHawk,” the albinistic Red Tailed Hawk that was struck at the Legacy Ridge Golf Course by a golf ball that fractured his wing was released back into the wild on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 18 , 2008.
